Here are some recent tracks… let me know which other ones should be downloads!

Philip Sheppard signs with Faber

I’m delighted to let you know I’ve signed a publishing agreement with Faber Music.

They’re a company I’ve liked for many years – and I’m excited about working with them. Click the image above for their site.

The Clockmaker’s Daughter

Here’s a new piece called The Clockmaker’s Daughter. [Audio http://radiomovies.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/the-clockmakers-dream.mp3]

It’s a light, steampunk little vocal study, with glass harmonica and prepared piano. I wanted to explore the idea of a mechanical sound feeling really human.

Voice parts by Belinda Mikhaïl.

The Tillman Story – score by Philip Sheppard

Here as promised are three of the cues from the score of The Tillman Story, which has just been playing at Sundance 2010.

‘Amir Bar-Lev’s “The Tillman Story” is a riveting account of how a soldier’s death in Afghanistan was spun into a web of public lies…. Theatrical, broadcast and further fest exposure are assured…’

VARIETY

‘…driven by a terrific score by Philip Sheppard who did the music for “Sergio” and “In The Shadow of The Moon”…’
