I’m stuck into a really exciting film project that will be released in the Autumn with an album launch… can’t say too much yet…

Also had a nice invite to play on Later with Jools Holland. Last time I was on with The Hours, we were alongside The Scissor Sisters & Damon Albarn. That made my month!

It’s a light, steampunk little vocal study, with glass harmonica and prepared piano. I wanted to explore the idea of a mechanical sound feeling really human.

In 2005 I ran the London Marathon with my friends Andy and Rob in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

This year, we’re running it again in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust (an incredible Leukemia charity).

26.2 miles is a jolly long way, and as many of you know I’m not a sporting chap (but I seem to be able to run for hours, which is just as well…)

Also now halfway through writing a big USA film project that I’m loving working on. Also finished a film where I’m sharing a credit with Moby (which is nice, but I doubt he shares my excitement…)

It’s this time of year that I long to be on a mountain’s edge somewhere between heaven and earth, gravity and weightlessness, beauty and terror.

This track is called Nearly Zero G and was featured in the recent Teton Gravity extreme Ski film Re:Session.
