The story
Philip composed the music for David Starkey’s television series Henry VIII: Mind of a Tyrant.
The score brings together the vocal consort Alamire with Dr David Skinner, the viol consort Fretwork and the singer Dot Allison, setting Tudor sound worlds against Philip’s own writing.
