The story
Philip composed and performed the score for Greg Barker’s Legion of Brothers, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2017: Philip’s tenth year in a row with a film at Sundance.
Weeks after September 11, fewer than a hundred US Special Forces soldiers went into Afghanistan alongside the Northern Alliance. With unprecedented access to the Green Berets who led those missions, the film follows their victory, the long war that followed, and the brothers-in-arms they lost.
