The Voyager Golden Discs are gramophone records which were attached to both Voyager spacecrafts, which were launched in 1977.
The discs contain a huge array of music and noises from Earth, as well as biometric information and scientific knowledge.
Inscribed on the discs are the words; ‘To the makers of music – all worlds, all times…’
Everything in my track is built from manipulated sounds from the gold discs attached to the Voyager space probes.
